We believe that the future of project management is human. As AI handles more tactical work, your value lies in leadership, empathy, judgment, and strategy—everything that can't be automated. Our principles and practices help you protect energy, lead with purpose, and create environments where both the work and the people get better.
Whether you're refining your leadership approach, solving team alignment challenges, or building a culture of trust and accountability, Same Team Partners is ready to help.
By the way, you can pick up your own “Lovable Hardass” t-shirt.
What We Do
We help project managers lead with clarity and empathy in today's hybrid, AI-enabled work environment. Through our membership program, guides, and resources, we give you the systems and confidence to keep projects on track and people intact—without burning out.
We teach human-centered PM principles that define what makes project management a leadership role, not just a task list. We help you diagnose and fix team dysfunction before it derails your project. We support accidental PMs who got thrown into the role and need to get up to speed fast. We help you lead without formal authority—the core challenge every PM faces. And we help you integrate AI strategically, using tools to handle tactical work so you can focus on the leadership, judgment, and strategy that actually matter.
Who We Are
Same Team Partners was founded by Brett Harned and Greg Storey—two leaders who've been working together to support PMs since 2012, when we solved a culture crisis that taught us everything about what makes teams actually work.
Together, we co-founded the Digital PM Summit in 2013 and launched the Sprints & Milestones podcast in 2017. We've worked with teams from scrappy startups to Fortune 100 companies, spent decades in the trenches, wrote the books, and learned the hard way what doesn't work—so you don't have to.
Brett and Greg bring different expertise to the same mission: helping PMs evolve from task managers into strategic leaders who know how to build clarity, trust, and momentum on their teams.
