We’ve been there, owned that, and learned a lot of lessons along the way.
We've been in all the seats, from project manager and designer to agency owners and in-house executives. Decades of experience in the industry as leaders and practitioners have given us hard-earned insights into how teams and projects fail, different ways and means to recover, and how to set people up for lasting future success.
Because of this, they are often hindered from creating effective communications, systems, and processes to get ahead of these problems. Leaders are often stuck and they seek help, but it’s not working as they would like. And that’s why we’re here, to get creative leaders unstuck and proactively in front of their challenges and on a vastly improved path.
Same Team Partners was co-founded by Brett Harned and Greg Storey in 2012.
Our guiding priciples

- Silos are for grain, not greatness. Cross-functional teams are the best way to ensure success for the stakeholders, the business, and the users.
- Radical candor is kindness. We do best by each other and the work itself when we’re open, generous, and constructive with our feedback to make it (and ourselves) better.
- Participation is critical for success. Creative and critical ideas can come from all corners. As both facilitators and participants, we strive to cultivate input from all. To realize a shared vision, all discourse and debate is vital.
- Serve systems over ideas and ideas over egos. Our work serves the greatest good when we consider its broadest impact, involving the right people to engage in co-design and provide critical feedback.
- Progress leads to perfect. An iterative process allows us to validate that we’re on the right path and moving from good to great to complete to perfect– creating value in every step along the way.
