The Huddle
What's top of mind this week? Greg’s busy figuring out how to scale the Teamangle Diagnostic so teams can stop flying blind, while Brett’s out there making connections and bringing new people into the fold. One of us is mapping the path forward, the other is making sure we’ve got people to walk it with us. Seems like a pretty solid system, right?
The Review: This Week’s Topic
Leadership advice is broken: it’s not about you, it’s about them.
Somewhere along the way, leadership advice got a little too self-centered—confidence, command, control. But great leadership isn’t about the leader; it’s about the team. The best leaders don’t focus on how to be powerful, they focus on how to empower their teams. The ones who get it wrong? They’re the ones stuck in their own heads, worried about their own authority, ignoring the impact they have on the people around them.
This conversation hit on something big: leadership needs a perspective shift. It’s not about looking in the mirror and asking, How do I become a great leader?—it’s about looking at your team and asking, What do they need to succeed? The leaders who grow in service to their teams are the ones who actually move things forward. Those who cling to old-school command-and-control mindsets? They’re the ones slowing everything down.
We also posted two Teamangle articles on Same Page this week:

The High Five
This week’s high five goes to listening to experts—specifically those helping us with marketing! We may resist, we may grumble, but at the end of the day, we’re learning from people who know their stuff. High five to letting go and trusting the process.
That’s it for this week. See you next time!
